How can we help?
Help with recordings, meeting notes, and account or subscription questions.
Contact Bilin support
Email support@popcorngrove.com.au with your app version, iPhone model, iOS version, and what happened. English and Chinese messages are welcome.
Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or a confidential recording or transcript. A screenshot with private information hidden is usually a better starting point.
Common questions
Can I leave Bilin while my meeting is processing?
Keep Bilin open until submission is complete. When the banner confirms cloud processing, you can leave the app; return later with an internet connection to retrieve the result. Temporary server results have a limited recovery window, so return promptly and keep important saved copies on your phone.
My subscription has expired. Can I still use my recordings?
Yes. While signed in, you can view saved meetings, listen to recordings, and record new audio. New cloud transcription and minutes require verified subscription access. Already accepted processing results do not require a new purchase just to retrieve them.
Bilin says “Verify your subscription to continue.” What should I do?
An existing subscription record could not be confirmed through Apple. This is not a request to buy again. Check your connection, use the app's verification option, and follow Apple's sign-in prompt if it appears. If you changed the account used for purchases, use the original purchasing account. If verification still fails, contact support rather than making a duplicate purchase.
Private TestFlight testing uses Apple's sandbox purchase environment. Its account and renewal behaviour can differ from a public App Store purchase, so include “TestFlight” when reporting a test subscription issue.
Why did the transcript or minutes get something wrong?
AI-generated results can mishear or misinterpret information. Add relevant names and terms before processing, and use transcript-linked playback to check important passages. Do not rely on generated numbers, decisions, or actions without reviewing them.
How do I delete my account?
Open Bilin's account settings and choose Delete account. The app distinguishes deactivation, which preserves information for recovery, from permanent deletion. Read the confirmation before proceeding. Permanent deletion also removes this account's meetings on that phone; copies on other devices or exported elsewhere must be removed separately.
Neither deactivation nor permanent deletion cancels an Apple subscription. Manage subscriptions separately with Apple. If you cannot access the app, contact us for help with a privacy or deletion request.
Is my audio sent to a server just because I record?
Recording and local playback do not start cloud processing. Transcription sends audio and relevant meeting context for processing. If you only regenerate minutes from a saved transcript, Bilin uses that transcript without submitting the audio again. Read the privacy policy for the providers, temporary recovery storage, and cleanup details.
